We've been getting a lot of pressure to update you all on the house so here you go.

We have seen the local elk heard a number of times in the last few days / week.

The hot tub is done. Holy S$!& that was a pile of work. After we finally got "jaboni pools" to install the thing, then there was about 13 sq yds of dirt to move back into the hole. And, as you can see from the picture, much of it too close to the house to be accessible with the tractor so it was wheel barrow after wheel barrow. Then, on the following weekend, we placed gravel on the dirt and then laid the left over Rundle stone from the fireplace- which we did at -20C during the 1 in 100 year freeze. We got it cleaned out, filled and fired up but before it could get close to working we lost the power overnight and the whole thing froze over and the pump suction line froze. Several wet hours later, we had it working.

Yesterday (Dec 9th) we hosted Karen's staff and their families to the A.E. Cross Christmas party. It was ;ots of fun, and there were lots of things for people to do.
