Life is Wild

April 11 - wing night. The sun is setting later and later. Karen came home after work to see several elk in the field behind our house.

The following Saturday, we looked out the front window to see a pair of ducks scoping out our "there's not supposed to be a pond there" pond next to the driveway. Apparently it didn't suit their needs.

Then, last week, as if to say "don't get too excited there folks", Mother Nature hits us with snow, snow and more snow. Friday the 20th, you could barely see highway 22 across the field.
