Day 35

Sunday December 11, 2005. A busy week for Karen and Bill and this is the first opportunity to see progress in a week. It is a gloriously warm day and Karen comments that on a day like today one could be sitting on the back porch with a fire going and reading in the peace and tranquility.

The services are trenched in and back filling has begun. The bearing walls in the basement are mostly framed up and the I-beam is in place. Still touch and go as to whether we will need to strike up a borrow pit for more fill.
