This should actually be entitled "the week ending July 16, 2006".

On Monday, Bill's sister Susan, Colin, Kieran and Devin arrived in Calgary on and after enduring Calgary's finest rush hour traffic (what with downtown types trying to get out and others trying to get in to the Stampede grounds) we traipsed out to the house. Friends Roger and Lori and their daughter Jenn (Jenny? Jennifer? You know fathers, they'll use a different name each time!) joined in the fun.
On Friday, while Bill was there, neighbours (the McWhir's) dropped in.

The week also saw the arrival of the second desk for the office, the cook top and the downdraft vent (the office in the condo is getting just a tad crowded) and a meeting on the site with Terry.

The garage and basement floors were poured on Wednesday. The garage logs, fascia and soffit have had the sealer applied. The front porch is complete save for the soffit and the stone pillars. The mudroom entrance porch is framed and the covering roof completed with soffit and log siding in the gable.

Insulation in the rafters has begun and both wings are completed.
