Day 111

Friday, February 24th - it's been a week since we last went out and even then, due to the cold, nothing had changed between February 13th and the 17th so no pictures were taken last weekend.

Karen took her usual Friday trip out. The boys have built themselves quite a scaffold structure in the great room in order to be able to safely work on all the purlins, dormer logs and such. The gable ends of the great room are coming along nicely, in fact nearly complete and the purlins look nice with a stub of an end sticking through to the other side.

Looking out the back doors, Karen caught a lovely picture of an almost celestial light coming through the clouds on a crisp winter day. Another shot shows the multitude of layers through the foothills and in the background a snow covered field takes on the appearance of a lake.
